Dark Adventure Radio Theatre
The Colour Out of Space Download
"It was just a colour out of space -
a frightful messenger from unformed realms
of infinity beyond all Nature as we know it"
Dark Adventure Radio Theatre: The Colour Out of Space brings Lovecraft's favorite story to life as it might have been adapted for radio in the 1930s. In the style of The War of the Worlds, The Shadow and our own At the Mountains of Madness, The Dunwich Horror, The Shadow Out of Time, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, The Call of Cthulhu and The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, Dark Adventure Radio Theatre dramatizes HPL's story with a huge cast of professional actors, exciting sound effects and thrilling original music by Troy Sterling Nies (composer for The Call of Cthulhu and The Whisperer in Darkness).
A meteorite falls on a remote Massachusetts farm. Before men of science from Miskatonic University can determine what it is, the space rock apparently evaporates. But a series of terrible changes overtake the farm and its inhabitants, propelling them on a horrific course of desolation, madness, and death. The sole witness to the event spins a chilling and disturbing tale of cosmic horror.

SmartPhone and Tablet Users Please Note: Apple and some other platforms really only want you to buy music, videos or apps from them, not 3rd party guys like us. The iPad, for example, is not configured to incorporate audio coming from sources other than the iTunes store. Our shows are not currently available via iTunes. We strongly encourage customers to download our files to a computer and then sync them to their favorite mobile device (iTunes works just fine for this). Most people who try and purchase and load the files directly to a phone or tablet will have difficulties.
